Roller blind

The Polysun ScreenLine roller blind is unique. No other brand has a comparable system. More than anything else, what sets it apart is the use of Verosol fabric rather than foil. As a result, it combines the advantages of a regular roller blind with the attractions of an integral roller blind.

The fabric is made by Verosol, a manufacturer of high-grade interior blind. It is available in 17 colours and 3 transparency grades. All three fabric qualities have excellent flame-retarding properties.

The fabric has a distinctive metallised back, which strengthens its reflective properties and creates a uniform silver grey surface. It also minimises opportunities to peek in.

The roller blind runs through a side guide to ensure it hangs tautly in the window.

Fabric types

Transparent: You can still get a good view of what is going on outside when the roller blind is down. This fabric quality is primarily suited to north-facing windows or spaces where privacy is not such an issue, as passers-by will be able to see your interior when you have a light on inside after dark.

Semi-transparent: You can still make out the outlines of buildings or cars when the roller blind is down. This fabric quality is suitable for east- and west-facing windows or spaces that require a little more privacy, as passers-by will be able to make out figures in your interior when you have a light on inside.

Opaque: You cannot see what is going on outside when the roller blind is down. You will only be able to distinguish light and dark. The fabric does not block out all light. If you need it to, the Polysun ScreenLine pleated blackout blind is what you are looking for. An opaque fabric is suitable for south-facing windows and spaces that require a high level of privacy, as passers-by will not be able to see your interior when you have a light on inside after dark.

Polysun ScreenLine Cord mechanism

The Polysun ScreenLine cord mechanism consists of an external magnet control fixed to the pane directly opposite the magnet behind the pane in the upper left- or right-hand corner. The roller blind is raised or lowered by pulling on the cord.

The length of the cord complies with EU child safety regulations, which state that it must be at least 1.5 metres above the floor to ensure that children do not get caught up in it. The standard cord length is 0.5 metres or 1 metre if the installation height is unknown.
